ETTA National Cadet and Junior League Results

Blackpool A continued their campaign in the ETTA National Cadet League with a string of convincing wins over teams from all over north Lancashire and Cumbria, at Garstang Leisure Centre on 22^nd November.

With 9 wins out of 10 matches over the two weeks, the team of William Ross, Emily Ross, Ryan Harding and Robert Garbett are looking in good shape to put pressure on Barrow A and Garstang A for the title.

The second team: David Turner, James Garbett, Alec Whittaker, Elenor Bannister and Chloe Ireland, although at the other end of the table, have really enjoyed the competition and gained plenty of experience playing in this under 14 event.

Blackpool A found it tough going in Division 1 of the National Junior League with one win out of 5 matches against Bradford FastBats, however, the team of William Ross, Emily Ross and Ryan Harding all put in some good performances, with Ryan in particular winning 40% of his matches.

For Blackpool B in Division 2 there were again some good performances, but unfortunately none translated into overall team wins. Adam Fazackerley and Daniel Jackson won a very creditable 63% and 38% respectively, but for the cadet players David Turner and Alec Whittaker the match wins were just a step too far.
